1. Emms launches new website redesign - January 2008       hide
• Emms Transport has launched its new website that has been designed by Conceptwebsites.
  

2. Edlington Gala 2006/2007       hide

• Every year Emms Transport takes part in the Edlington gala.

  This annual event allows the local schools and residents to participate in a fun filled joyful day. We allow the school children to 'dress' up trailers with their schools assistance and supervision and then Emms drivers pass through the village usually with a brass band leading. The vehicles then park up where the event is to be hosted. The whole day is supervised by the police and other local businesses take part.

4. Emms purchases Rolling road - Summer 06       hide

• To expand our commercial maintenance department and to allow us to carry out more internal work a decision was made to invest in a fully mobile rolling road brake testing machine. We are now able to carry out full testing with computer diagnostics in-house rather than externally. What does this mean for our customers? It means that the vehicles we maintain and service have a quicker turn around time. A full service can be completed in half a day ensuring that the vehicle is back on the road as soon as reasonably practicable. We also test our trailers prior to the annual MOT test, thereby ensuring they pass the test prior to submitting it for MOT. This has made our commercial garage more efficient and allowed all services to be fully completed in house. We offer 3rd party maintenance, click on the maintenance link for more information or contacts to speak with one our our rolling road testers / mechanics. We can offer fully diagnostic checks outlining the braking force of each individual axle and can advise why or if it will pass/fail. This then helps in fixing any problems as you no which wheel is the cause of any braking deficiencies. Are your drivers complaining about poor brakes? or pulling when braking hard? - get your brakes tested and see the causes for yourself.

5. Emms Launches new website - January 2005       hide

• This year, as Emms grows and expands her horizons, it was decided by management that we needed a new web design.

  Costs of such a venture was weighed up against allowing our customers (haulage and driving school) to be able to see who we are, what we do, and where we do it. The website has been a huge success, allowing members of the public and customers all over Europe to view and have direct access to the transport team here at Emms Depo in Doncaster.
